Prof. Dr. BERRIN ISIK

Prof. Berrin was born in Sivas (Turkey). She studied medicine at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. The specialization of anesthesiology and reanimation she finished at Trakya University Faculty of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation-Edirne. In 2014 she became the full professor of anesthesiology and reanimation at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology and reanimation, Ankara, and still working there.
From year 2017, she is active lecturer in “Ultrasonography in Anesthesia Practice” group of Turkish Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation,
The Prof. Isik’s interesting area are pediatric anesthesia, pediatric regional anesthesia, pediatric sedation, postoperative delirium, agitation and cognitive disorders.
Prof. Berrin is editor of two scientific book, author of 6 chapters in book, author of 6 translated books, 50 publications in peer reviewed journals, 3 invited lectures, 338 citations, supervisor of a doctoral thesis and medical expertise thesis.
