Prof. Dr. ÖMER KURTIPEK

Prof. Ömer was born in Ankara (Turkey). He studied medicine at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and followed he anesthesiology and reanimation specialization in the same university hospital. In 2003 he became the full professor of anesthesiology and reanimation at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, Ankara, and still working there.
Prof. Kurtipek was active for many years in commissions and high positions in Ministry of Health.
During period 2014-2016 he was a Member of Board Directors in Turkish Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation (TARD). During 2016-2018, Vice President of Turkish Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation and 2018-2020: President of Turkish Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation .
From year 2016, he is the head of department of anesthesiology and reanimation at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine.
He is author of three book chapters, author of a chapter in a translated book, one editorialship of a section, one chief editorialship, 72 publications, 35 of them published in international peer-reviewed journals, have 292 citations and supervisor of 10 thesis.
